NSC | How to Change GL Impact?
Scenario:
A user is trying to update or modify the General Ledger (G/L) impact generated by an Item Fulfillment transaction.
Solution:
Once a transaction is saved and its GL impact is posted, the system does not allow direct editing of the GL impact. This is by design to preserve financial audit integrity. For Item Fulfillment specifically:
- The GL impact is determined by the associated item types, item cost, location, and the accounting setup (e.g., Inventory Asset, COGS accounts).
- If the GL impact is incorrect, it is usually due to configuration issues such as:
