NSC | Expiry Date Updated on the Item Receipt Is Not Saved
Scenario:
A user tries to update the expiry date on an Item Receipt, expecting the system to save the new value. However, upon saving the transaction, the expiry date reverts to the original value, and the changes do not persist. The user wants to know why this happens and how to correctly update the expiry date.
Solution:
This is a standard system behavior. Once the inventory detail (including expiry dates) is assigned during the initial Purchase Order receipt or related transaction, the expiry date becomes locked to that inventory assignment. Any changes made directly on the Item Receipt will not be saved
