NSC | Can You Remove Mandatory Inventory Detail from Inventory Transactions?
Scenario:
The user wants to remove the requirement to enter inventory detail (e.g., lot numbers, serial numbers, inventory status) when processing inventory transactions like Item Receipts, Inventory Adjustments, or Fulfillments.
Solution:
The system requires inventory detail in certain scenarios, and removing this requirement is not always possible, depending on your item setup and account configuration. Here's what you need to consider:
- Lot Numbered or Serialized Items:
- If the item is Lot Numbered or Serialized, the system will always require you to specify the Lot or Serial Number during inventory-related transactions.
- This is by design and cannot be disabled unless the item type is changed.
