New to NetSuite | Order To Cash: Creating a Standalone Invoice
An Invoice is a record of Sale issued by a seller to a buyer, requesting Payment for goods or services provided, and includes details like Item descriptions, Quantities, Prices, Total Amount due, Invoice Date, and Payment Terms.
Record Sales on Invoices by adding each sold item from your Items list. An Invoice is made up of line items with their corresponding sales amounts, and the total of these amounts represents the full balance the customer owes.
Ways to create a Stand-alone Invoice:
1. Transactions > Sales > Create Invoices
2. Customer record > Sales > Transaction > New Invoice button
3. Customer record > Create New icon > Invoice
