NSC | Expense Report > Resolve Line Item Required Error
Scenario:
This error means that one or more of the user's expense report records are missing required sublist data—such as individual expense lines. Every expense report must include at least one sublist entry.
If the user is using a multiple-file import, the error may be due to an issue with the key column used to link the files. For example, if there's a typo or mismatch in the key column (like an incorrect Internal ID or external key), NetSuite won't be able to connect the main expense report data with its related line items
Solution: (Example import)
- Go to Setup > Import/Export > Import CSV Records
