New to NetSuite | User Event Script: N/afterSubmit function
Now that beforeLoad function and beforeSubmit Function have been discussed. It is time for the last function in the User Event Script – the afterSubmit Function. This function is triggered once the changes to a record have been successfully saved, offering a range of benefits and use cases.
One common use of the afterSubmit function is to create or modify additional records based on the changes made to the current record. For instance, when a sales order is submitted, you might want to automatically generate an invoice or update inventory levels. By utilizing afterSubmit, these actions can be executed seamlessly, ensuring data consistency, and reducing manual effort.
