New to NetSuite | N/action: Action.description Property
In our previous article, New to NetSuite | N/action Module Overview, we discussed the purpose and usage of the N/action module. In our ongoing exploration of the N/action module, this article highlights the description property of an action object. This property helps developers understand what a specific action is intended to do—useful when dynamically retrieving or presenting action options.
What is Action.description?
The description property returns a short, descriptive string of what the action does. It’s especially helpful when using action.get() or action.find() to programmatically retrieve a list of available actions and want to show more than just the internal ID.
