New to NetSuite | N/currentRecord: Column.id Property
In our previous article, New to NetSuite | N/currentRecord Module Overview, we discussed the purpose and usage of the N/currentRecord module.
Continuing our series on the N/currentRecord module, this article explores a simple yet essential property of the currentRecord.Column object — the .id property. Understanding this property helps you identify and interact with sublist columns more effectively in your Client Scripts.
What is Column.id?
The id property of the currentRecord.Column object returns the internal ID of the column. This ID is useful when you need to verify which column you're working with or apply logic based on a specific sublist field.
