Renaming of the System Notes Permission

This notice applies to customers where one or several of your NetSuite roles use the System Notes permission.

What is Changing?

Effective June 10, 2025, the existing name used for the System Notes permission will change to System Notes for Analytics and REST. The System Notes for Analytics and REST permission allows you to query system notes through the analytics data source. This update won't change how the permission works. The permission will continue to function as it always has. Similarly, this change doesn't affect the functionality of the Notes Tab permission that allows you to view system notes on NetSuite records.
