Unable to change General Preference date format - Resolve Issue
Scenario:
When we try changing the short date format to ‘DD-Mon-YYYY’ and long date format to ‘DD Month YYYY’, the preference reverts to default 'MM/DD/YYYY' on saving. We were able to set the option in Set Preferences but not in General Preferences. We tried using different browsers and all the users in that account are facing this issue. We also tried disabling the Redwood experience preference in Set Preferences but the same did not resolve the issue.
Solution:
1) Setup > Setup Manager
— Click Company
— Click General Preferences
2) Set the Date Format to D/M/YYYY
— Save the settings
3) Change the Date Format to requested DD-Mon-YYYY
