New to NetSuite | Lists Permission > Publish Forms Permission
As part of our ongoing New to NetSuite series, we’ve previously explored the New to NetSuite | Permissions and delved into the New to NetSuite | Permissions > List. In this article, we’ll focus on one specific and powerful permission within this category: Publish Forms
What does the "Publish Forms" permission do?
Purpose: The Publish Forms permission allows a user to make custom forms available to other users in the system.
Custom Forms: In NetSuite, you can create custom forms (for transactions, records, etc.) to tailor the user interface and data entry experience.
Publishing: When you “publish” a form, you are essentially making it available for use by others—either for specific roles, departments, or the whole company.
