NetSuite Admin Tip | Custom Field Not Showing on Transactions? Here's What to Check First!
Have you ever created a custom field—like for a Sales Order or Vendor Bill—and then scratched your head wondering why it’s not showing up when you try to enter a transaction?
You double-checked the setup, made sure the field is marked as “Show,” and yet… nothing.
Why Does This Happen?
This usually comes down to one of two things:
- The field isn’t assigned to the form you’re using
- There’s a display setting or condition hiding it
Even though you’ve created the field, NetSuite doesn’t automatically place it on every transaction form — especially if you're using custom forms.
