SuitePeople U.S. Payroll: Delaware Paid Family and Medical Leave Reclassification
This notice is intended for customers who are using SuitePeople U.S. Payroll.
What is Changing?
Starting August 12, 2025, SuitePeople U.S. Payroll will support the reclassification of employees in the Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) program for Delaware. Unlike PFML programs in other states, Delaware allows participation and contributions from employees who meet specific criteria, even if they earn wages outside the state. Additionally, SuitePeople U.S. Payroll will also support both in-state and out-of-state wage reporting for employees performing services in Delaware and other states, ensuring compliance with agency requirements.
