Action Required: Vendor Exemption Rule Updates for India Localization SuiteTax Engine SuiteApp

This notice is intended for customers who have set up vendor exemption rules using the India Localization SuiteTax Engine SuiteApp.

What is Changing?

With India Localization SuiteTax Engine SuiteApp 2025.2, you’ll be able to set up vendor exemption rules for periods of less than a year. This change will align exemption rules with TDS certificates that are issued for shorter durations, such as a quarter or a few months. The India Localization SuiteTax Engine SuiteApp 2025.2 is targeted for release on September 23, 2025. After the release, you must:

  • Create a TDS rule for each vendor exemption rule.
  • Review calculated TDS amounts for all existing transactions involving vendor exemption rules.
