Action Required: Change in VAT Registered Box Configuration for Philippine Tax Audit Files
This notice is intended for customers who use the Tax Audit Files (TAF) SuiteApp and may be impacted by upcoming changes to the Philippines (PH) TAF reports.
What is Changing?
On October 21, 2025, NetSuite will update the Tax Audit Files SuiteApp to version 1.89.0. As part of this release, most PH TAF reports will no longer use the VAT Registered setting in the International Tax Reports (ITR) SuiteApp’s Tax Filing Setup. Instead, these reports will use the PH Seller Type field in the Philippines Invoicing subtab on the Subsidiary or Company record to determine which registered TIN header appears in the audit files. The PH TAF reports will also include additional information in the report header, in compliance with the requirements of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).
