Important: SuitePeople U.S. Payroll System Update for New Mexico State Income Tax

edited Nov 10, 2025 2:19PM in Announcements

This notice is intended for customers who use SuitePeople U.S. Payroll and have employees subject to New Mexico State Income Tax (SIT).

What is Changing?

On November 14, 2025, SuitePeople U.S. Payroll will release an update for the State of New Mexico. This update makes sure payroll calculations stay accurate if an employee’s filing status is Head of Household. Pay statements for payrolls processed after this date may be affected.

Recommended Actions

After the update on November 14, 2025, you should:

  • Check if any of your employee records are affected by this change.
  • If there are affected employee records, update the settings to reflect the correct filing status.

Regards,
