Updates to Time-Off Permissions and Time-Off Portlet Access

This notice is intended for customers who use Time-Off Requests and Time-Off portlets. An upcoming change will improve how access to the Time-Off Request record and the Time-Off portlet is managed in NetSuite and the NetSuite Employee Center.

This update provides greater control over which employees can use time-off requests and access related features through enhanced permissions.

Target Release Dates

The new Time-Off permission will be available as follows:

  • Production Availability: January 13, 2026
  • Release Preview Availability: January 13, 2026

Important: If you opt in to view this change in your Release Preview account, do so after January 14, 2026. This makes sure that your SuiteApp has been fully upgraded.
