Action Required: Updates to SuitePeople U.S. Payroll Minnesota Paid Family and Medical Leave
This notice is intended for customers using SuitePeople U.S. Payroll and may have employees covered by the Minnesota Paid Family and Medical Leave (MN PFML) program.
What is Changing?
On December 19, 2025, SuitePeople U.S. Payroll will release an update for Minnesota’s new paid leave program, effective January 1, 2026.This update introduces new fields to capture account details and tax rates as required for MN PFML compliance.
Required Actions
After the update on December 19, 2025, you should:
- Set up the PFML contributions code. For more information, see Paid Family and Medical Leave Contributions for Employees, SuiteAnswer ID 1019819.
- Update the following payroll setup:
