Class and Department Behavior Update for Manufacturing Posting Transactions
This notice is intended for customers who use Manufacturing features in NetSuite. Please note an important change regarding how Class and Department information is sourced for Manufacturing posting transactions.
What Is Changing?
On the 12th and 20th of December, a fix was implemented to address the behavior of Class and Department sourcing on Manufacturing posting transactions. This change addressed previously inconsistent behavior in sourcing of Class and Department fields in Manufacturing Routing/Outsourcing charges bringing them in line with other NetSuite transaction types. The main changes are as follows:
