Overview
The ADD_MONTHS function is a date manipulation function that returns a date value after adding a specified number of months to a given date. In simpler terms, it allows you to move forward or backward in time by a set number of months from a specific date. For example, if you have a project start date and want to determine the end date three months later, ADD_MONTHS helps you calculate that future date accurately.
