Changes to Field Names in SiteCategory and Related Records

in Announcements

This notice applies to customers who use features in NetSuite that will be affected by changes to certain field names. These changes are part of our ongoing efforts to improve data consistency and future compatibility across NetSuite.

What’s Changing

Effective with the NetSuite 2026.1 release, field names in the following records will be updated:

  • SiteCategory
  • KnowledgeBase
  • EmployeeDirectory
  • PublishedSavedSearch
  • WebSiteTab

These updates standardize names between different NetSuite interfaces, including REST, SuiteScript, and SuiteQL. The specific field name changes include:

These changes are intended to improve consistency and make it easier to work with NetSuite data and customizations moving forward. Complete the required actions before your account is upgraded to NetSuite 2026.1 to avoid any disruption to your Commerce website.
