NSC | Enforcing Bin Scanning in WMS While Keeping Bin List Visible
Scenario:
The user wanted to prevent warehouse operators from selecting bin locations by tapping them directly on the WMS handheld screen. The requirement was to force operators to physically scan the bin barcode while still allowing them to view the list of available bin locations in WMS mobile.
Solution:
This behavior can be controlled using a standard WMS configuration setting.
To enforce bin scanning while keeping the bin list visible:
- Navigate to the relevant WMS mobile configuration or screen setup.
- Locate the setting:
- Disable Click
- Enable or check the Disable Click option.
- Save the configuration.
When the Disable Click option is enabled:
