NSC | Dropship Purchase Order Cannot Be Received After Mark Shipped

Scenario:
The user encountered the following error when attempting to receive a Dropship Purchase Order after it had already been marked shipped:

“This line is marked shipped. This line cannot be received.”

The user identified that enabling the preference “Allow Both Mark Shipped Fulfillments and Receipts on a Drop Shipment Line” resolves the issue, but wanted to understand the impact this setting may have on existing functionality.

Solution:
The preference “Allow Both Mark Shipped Fulfillments and Receipts on a Drop Shipment Line” controls whether NetSuite allows both fulfillment and receipt transactions to coexist on the same dropship line.
