NetSuite Admin Tip | Promotion Not Auto-Applying in Web Store but Works in NetSuite UI
There may be cases where a promotion works correctly in the NetSuite UI but does not automatically apply in the web store, even though all standard promotion configurations appear correct.
Before troubleshooting further, verify the following:
- SuitePromotions and Auto-Apply Promotions features are enabled under:
Setup > Company > Enabled Features > Transactions tab - The item included in the promotion has: Display in Website enabled
- The promotion record has: This Promotion Can Be Automatically Applied enabled
- The website record has: Auto-Apply Promotions enabled under:
Commerce > Websites > Website List > Shopping tab > Promotions section
If all the above configurations are already correct and the promotion still does not auto-apply in the web store, another possible root cause is the transaction form configuration used by the website.
