Locking the CustomerID field
We have a process that requires semi-frequent CSV imports to update information on Customer records. I have not yet explored doing this with web services and for now, the CSV imports meet our needs.
There is one problem-- the fact that the unique identifier / key field is the CustomerID field, and my users can change the contents of this field. I may be missing something, but I can't seem to customize the Entry Form for Customers to not allow this field to be changed. There is probably something I could do with scripting but I was hoping for a simpler fix.
