last transaction on dashboard

I am trying to find a way to put the last 5 transactions (estimates and invoices) to show up on the customer dashboard showing a specific field.  I am assuming it would be a saved search that I can to but I can't make it work.

Specifics:

our tech goes to a customer house and types in a custom field, "Recommendations" or "Memo" in either the estimate or invoice.   This will show what the tech recommended for the customer to do to repair.  I want the tech to be able to go to the customer dashboard and it will show the last 5 transactions with recommendations notes.  Any idea how can I make this happen?
