Is there a way to allow negative inventory in Item Fulfillment form Sales Orders?
We process our sales order through an interface with a 3rd party Warehouse Management System (WMS) and we use Lot Number Inventory Items. When we fulfill the last available stock from a lot number, sometimes we are missing a few decimals in stock. It is really a rounding issue.
For example, we have 20.5000 kgs for a lot number of a specific item and the WMS sends a message to fulfill 20.5014 kgs (WMS sends up to 4 decimals). The script that triggers the fulfillment fails because we are missing those 0.0014 kgs (20.5014 - 20.50 = 0.0014). Currently, we manually have to add the 0.0014 kgs to that lot number and reprocess the item fulfillment.
