Sales order changes from billed to pending billing - for seemingly no reason

Hi All, has anyone seen this before: my sales order was on status 'Billed' Then there was a change to the invoice (a body field that has no relation to the amount) And for some reason the sales order went to status 'Pending Billing' stranger still is that the invoice lost the 'Created From' link to the sales order
