Using Description Items on Outsourced Purchase Orders
We have been exploring the possibility of using Outsourced Manufacturing to document some of our processes. Specifically, the use case is:
Purchase a Blank item and stock it as inventory item
Sell decorated (assembly) item with customized logos to be decorated on demand, pulling from the stock of blanks
Need to be able to add a Description item on the Outsourced Purchase Order in order to tell the outsourcing vendor how to decorate the item.
Adding Description Items on Outsourced Purchase Orders is not currently supported.
Question for the Oracle NetSuite people: is there a plan to support adding Description Items on Outsourced Purchase Orders or is there an existing Enhancement Request on this issue?
