Can you copy a date from a custom field on a PO to another PO field to show in a Saved Search

Dear Sir or Madam:

I created a custom date field on a PO where a user can select a date. Now the customer wants this date selection to be included in a saved search. I can't figure out how to pull the custom field date data into the saved search report. I can pull the column for it but no selection date shows. Can this be done?
