How do I add a data in a column to a Invoice Group Advanced PDF/HTML Template?

Please can someone help me as I'm trying to added information that is found in a column under the details subtab to the Invoice Group Advanced PDF/HTML Template so that it pulls through the information so the Customer can see which Candidates the invoices transaction lines relate to.

The column which I'm trying to get to show is called Candidate Names and is a custom column. I have tried record.invoice_details.custcolbcs_candidate_names however nothing pulls through even though information shows on the Group Invoice under the details subtab. I have included below a screen print of the subtab showing the column.
