How to access certain other subsidiaries records

in Ask A Guru 3 comments

We want a certain role to be able to see all of the values in a certain custom record on PO and SO forms.

I've tried the ALLOW CROSS-SUBSIDIARY RECORD VIEWING configuration on the role configuration page, but it didn't work and the role user still couldn't see other subsidiaries' lists/records.

How could I make the configuration what we need?
