Is there any way to detect if SuiteTax is enabled through the API ?

I am developing an integration with Netsuite. Currently our script only supports legacy tax. We would like to add SuiteTax support to it.

Is there any way I can check whether SuiteTax is enabled in the netsuite instance from the restlet script?
