ODBC Data Source - Is NetSuite2.com faster than NetSuite.com

Hello,

I have an Excel ODBC connection setup to use NetSuite.com as data source. The SQL query is heavy - data is extracted from transactions table and there are quite a lot of joins, subqueries, groupings, etc.

Recently the query started to take significantly more time to load and my question is if migrating to NetSuite2.com would reduce that time. I understand that NetSuite.com is no longer supported in terms of new tables and fields, but is the speed also a factor to consider between the two data sources?
