How to use Suitescript GL impact export that match the local amount in the UI?

There is a Suiteanswer article describing how to export GL impact of a transaction via script (id : 34316).

The problem is that values seem to be in EUR and I have hard way to find amounts in local currency. When I use the fx rate it does not match the local amount in the UI.

It must be a common issue, but I did not manage to find information on this topic, help needed please!
