How to Use Multiple Select Field as a Filter in Saved Search?

I have changed a custom item field from a "List/Record" to a "Multiple Select" field. This has broken my saved searches that are no longer working because I was filtering by that field.

I have looked at my saved search and it seem as though you cannot filter by a custom "Multiple Select" field which is very problematic.


Is there a work around?


I cannot revert the field to List/Record because it will wipe all the data and that causes other problems as well.
