Asset Depreciation in the Current Month for Asset Disposal
Hi Everyone,
I have question regarding Fixed Asset Depreciation and Fixed Asset Disposal.
I have a case which is the Asset will be disposed on 6 Jan 2021.
The Asset has been depreciate until 31 Dec 2020 using "4–4–5 Calendar Depreciation" which is depreciate at daily basis and using Pro-rata for the depreciation rules.
When i create Asset Disposal on 6 Jan 2021, it create journal for accumulate depreciation until 31 Dec 2020.
Why for 1 - 5 Jan 2021 are not generate any depreciation, even though already use Pro-rata for Depreciation Rules and the depreciation on daily basis?
