Revenue Recognition
I can't seem to figure out how to get the revenue to post for an item that I created.
I had to create an invoice for a sublease (not our normal business), so I created an item to put on the invoice called Sublease. Because all our other items were created to have Revenue Recognition Plans, I ended up using the same defaults for this one. Now I have an invoice that credited the Deferred Revenue GL and I can't get an entry to appear for the month to recognize the revenue as income.
I can see that the Invoice created a revenue arrangement. And the revenue arrangement has a revenue element. But when I open the revenue element, it says the Revenue Plan Status is Not Started. I'm guessing that's why nothing comes up when I try to create Rev Rec JE's.
