Transaction Line Distribution SuiteApp - Distribute Taxes functionality
I have been trying the new transaction line distribution suiteapp, and I am a little baffled at how the 'Distribute Taxes' functionality works. This is a checkbox you can select, either on a Distribution template or on the Quick Add Distribution, and the field helps says 'Check this box to distribute the transaction line tax amount based on the value setup in the template lines.'
What this ends up doing is distributing the tax line to the expense account in the JE:
Is this a design oversight or a bug? It means that more is credited from the expense account against the originating subsidiary than was posted in the original bill, as the tax amount is also credited out of the expense account
