REST: Intermittent Error 401

Recently, I asked this question:

Now that it is working, I have noticed that sometimes I get a 401, while other times I get the correct results.

Is there a throttling going on at Netsuite possibly? If there is, wouldn't the message say that instead of Invalid Login Attempt?

The other idea is that it may be a timestamp issue?
