Email Case Capture - Parse Email Subject and Populate Customer Case Field
Hello Gurus!
I am new to SuiteScript and am hoping that one of you awesome Guru's can help me by discussing a design overview/best practice approach to create a solution for the problem I've been tasked with.
Problem: We are currently using the native Email Case Capture feature to generate Tickets/Cases via various Ticket Profile email addresses. We will receive emails from an external customer service organization who handle overflow during high volume. The emails will always originate from the organization and will never find a match in the 'From Address' with a Customer Email Address, and so the Customer will always be assigned as anonymous. However, the Customer information is always avaliable in the Email Subject. I need to create a customization that after the email is received by NetSuite, when the Case/Ticket is being created
