Having an issue with exporting an item view list to csv file

Under Lists>Items I have a custom view to see items by vendor or preferred vendor. Both of those parameters are columns in the resulting view. When I try to export the list to csv the Preferred Vendor column does not get pulled into the csv file.

Any ideas as to why?
