Dynamic Adjustment of Labor Cost Per Hour Based on Monthly Days
Hello NetSuite Community,
I am looking for insights or suggestions regarding the following issue:
Issue:
In NetSuite, the labor cost per hour is currently set on the employee master record. However, since our employees receive fixed monthly salaries, we need this labor cost to adjust dynamically based on the number of days in each month (e.g., 28/29, 30, or 31 days). Unfortunately, we haven’t found a standard way to address this requirement.
Questions:
- Is there a standard NetSuite feature that dynamically calculates and updates the labor cost per hour based on monthly variations in the number of days?
- Can the labor cost per hour field be automatically calculated and populated using the "Base Wage/Year" field through a formula or existing functionality?
