Field Service Planned Maintenance Best Practice

Hello, I am looking for advice regarding planned maintenance contracts in NS. HVAC company has yearly planned maintenance contracts. Usually multiple visits during contract duration. Sales order created for duration of contract that can be billed annually or monthly. My question is regarding best practice when renewing the contract. Right now I am editing the contract end date which creates additional service orders which is great but, I'm not sure the best way to handle the sales order. Is it best to create a new sales order at renewal or is it better to
