Mass entry of Numerous Serial Number in an Item Receipt
Companies usually receive great quantities of their items per Purchase Order. For companies that utilizes Serialized Items, users would need to enter the Serial Numbers of these items upon receipt. As designed, only one Serial Number can be associated in one unit of the said item.
In the Item Receipt form, NetSuite has a built-in tool that can help users to efficiently enter/assign the serial numbers of an Item in an Item Receipt (if Advanced Bin / Numbered Inventory Management = T):
A. Express Entry: Allows users to copy and paste their Serial Numbers.
This, however, has a limitation as to how many characters/serial numbers one can input:
