Currency Exchange Rate Calculation

My Dilley test account's company currency is USD. Currently the Canadian subsidiary (CAD) falls under AMERICAS (USD)

Now I posted a journal for Canadian subsidiary with CAD amount, but when I run a consolidated report at AMERICAS, its not converting back in USD to show, its still showing the same CAD amount, which is incorrect looking at consolidated report in USD. Am I missing something?
