Best options for role restrictions and reporting?
Hello Gurus!
I have been searching the tools for an answer but have not found my exact question so I will ask.
My company is restructuring and adding some layers and reporting requirements not previously thought of when NetSuite was implemented a short 16 months ago. Who would have guessed!
Currently we are:
- flat in our Departments, no child departments
- using Department as a restriction on roles
- using the Class field for another purpose and cannot change
- using the Project field for another purpose and cannot change
I am considering the following option to achieve 3 separations:
- Layer 1 = Departments (already use)
- Layer 2 = Child Department (do not use)
