Yes you can have a negative charge -15%. Thanks Nick. How does one do that? I see how to enter a negative charge in absolute dollars, but not in percent. -Darren

It seems to me that this is a bug, and that in such cases where no COGS has been recorded for a given location, NetSuite should use the cost from any location that does have a cost recorded before giving up and simply recording no cost. I'm not exactly an expert on GAAP, but it would see that NetSuite is recording a…

Last fall we released an enhancement to always use the exact cost on returns, provided the return is linked to a specific sale, and regardless of whether the sales location and receiving location are different. So as to not cause unexpected change to users' costing behavior, this was automatic for new users, but for…

Are you using the Return Auth, Receive, Refund/Credit workflow for returned goods, or just raising Credit Memos as necessary? Thanks for the reply. I'm so grateful any time some kind soul takes the time to read these postings, ... this forum rocks! We're just raising credit memos as necessary, but I just tried the workflow…

Nick, In light of your comments regarding the lack of necessity to create a year-end adjusting journal, do you have any idea what enhancement 11185 might be talking about, and why it might be so popular vote-wise? -Darren
-
Also looking for an update on this! -d
-
within the next couple weeks you will be able to see the # of votes on all enhancement requests. Thanks, -e Thanks Evan, I look forward to having a look at that. Is there anything at all you can tell us about whether this 'fleshing out' of the kits feature is likely to ever happen, based on the voting you have seen and…
-
Evan, could you or anyone from your team give us an update on how voting for this feature is going, and whether there's a realistic chance that NetSuite might get this on the development roadmap any time in the next 18 months? We could really benefit from kits, but all of our components are serialized and thus ineligible…

Anyone? -Darren

Sorry you're having problems ... I know I've received bounces when I've emailed quotations/invoices to customers who were having email problems, or whose email address I had mis-typed ... Perhaps this has something to do with the From: address that you're setting on the outbound emails? The bounce might be coming back to…
-
We've been generating sales orders and mailing them overnight via SuiteScript, and whereas those emails used to go out under our company email address as defined in Setup->Company->Company information, they now go out with a from address of no-one@ourcompany.com. -d
-
That's depressing. Seems like a clear defect, well characterized and serious. -d
-
OMG this seems INCREDIBLY harmful. Have you filed this with Netsuite? If you get a case number and defect I'd like to get attached to that one. -d
-
Do you have a case/issue number we can have our account attached to? -Darren
-
According to NetSuite, this issue has been fixed in our account and initial tests suggest that they have indeed resolved the problem. No explanation has been offered and I have zero visibility into the underlying cause, but it looks like our customers will find themselves without ESP going forward. -Darren
-
Thank you for the update. I guess the fact that it's limited to our account explains why nobody else has reported it ;-) We would not have known it was happening ourselves but for a few very honest customers who leveled with us and showed us the emails NetSuite was sending. Thanks for the update, it is very sincerely…
-
that's pretty worrying!!! Have NS said why/where this is occuring? is it a defect applicable to just your account or more widespread? I don't think this is limited to our account, no. Try it on you account and let us know? Nothing from support other than to confirm the problem and file the defect. -darren

Whups, the support rep I spoke to told me she had filed an enhancement request of 150065, but that presently looks like it went in as a case with S3 priority. So sorry, you can't vote for it (yet). I can't check on the status of it because when I click on it from my Netsuite account, I get the dreaded "An unexpected error…
-
I think there is one or more already with a high # of requests. After Google Checkout (which is underway) this was our #1 request so we already have the information we need. Thanks, -e Those match our own priorities very closely, thanks for the great news! The only other thing I would hope to have high on Netsuite's radar…

Darren Unfortunately this is not possible. We have been after this for ages! (well... more specifically the ability to have flat rate discounts per unit) I filed an enhancement request awhile back: 111868 Enhancement Lists> Marketing > Create a promotion code based on quantity of item Open - Accepting Votes Under Review…
-
Darren, I feel your pain on this one. Like you, I was dumbfounded when I learned that we couldn't give a dollar amount off per item. Please see ER # 144884: Please provide the ability to set up a discount item for a variable dollar amount off per unit. Just to clarify what the "variable" means - here's my comment as…

We will be taking a comprehensive look at coupons and discounting in a future version and rework to allow as much flexibility as possible. This is a very high priority for our web team but we want to make sure to take the time to do it right. Thanks, -e That's great news Evan, thanks for letting us know this is in the…

Am am using AND, yes. I spoke with NetSuite support this weekend, case 960126. The say the exclusion won't work because of the one-to-many relation customer-to-campaign. Just to be clear, you have a customer who has received at least two campaigns, and you're able to create a saved search to exclude customers who have…

Ahh ok... What about if you said "Campaign Response: Campaign ID IS 102838" and checked the "NOT" box on the left of that line? Tried that also - same result. -Darren
-
I think the problem there is it matches any text in the campaign title. Use the internal ID and it should work. Thanks for following up with your comments, I really appreciate it. I tested with again just now, and confirmed that it does not work. If I add: Campaign Response: Campaign ID is not 102838 (where 102838 is the…
-
This looks like exactly what we're looking for, but I can't get it to work. It seems that because the relationship of customer to campaigns is one-to-many, that several other rows in the campaign list for that customer are not equal to Said Campaign A, and so that customer is returned as a match. Unless I'm missing…

If A,B and C are true, then they should just make a bundle already ...and refer all future requests for that issue to the bundle. Why not? T Well said! -Darren

Hello. Last time I checked, the only option NetSuite offered to escape site builder agony is a pricy upgrade to SuiteCommerce Advanced. Basically, they burned all of us and made it an up-sell. Is SuiteCommerce standard also an up-sell? Does anyone know if NetSuite plans to offer any of this new functionality to…

At this point, I do not care what One Page Checkout promises, I consider it a complete failure because all trust and confidence is gone. Is it possible to over promise and under deliver more that this? I could not agree more. We've begun a study to move away from NetSuite as an eCommerce platform as a priority. The damage…
