  • Our old system used to have a field called total sold that showed the told number of an item sold. How can I create a custom field to show this in NetSuite? Total Sold on an order? Or in the customer record on the items tab?:confused:
  • Its a tough one as you would typically want it to come from one source or the other (Job or from the Item definition). But if there was a way perhaps on the service item itself to determine where the time entry should source those values from would be good Options: 1. Source from Employee Record 2.   • Importing addresses is tricky and even trickier is the updating of addresses. When importing be sure to include all of the fields including the Label field. Always be sure to include the Default Billing/Shipping as well to avoid trying to doing updates. :confused: The Address record has a mind of its own sometimes though
  • Hey Cody, you can pull the internal ID of the transaction from a search of transactions. You may also want to pull the Line ID field for more defined updating.

  • What about sending the customer a copy of the invoice with the "Backordered" transaction column printing on the invoice for the customer. Not sure about your business products but thought this might be a good option for you :)

  • Agree, sounds like John didn't log back into the website using his email address and the system didn't detect it as a duplicate. You should also check the login requirements of the website, as well as the online form settings for duplicate detections Hope this helps !!

  • You should be able to edit the Sales Order, and select an existing job from the Job list. I believe it defaults to the very first transaction column. Edit the form and see if the field is set to NOT display for you.
