It appears that there is no clear way to determine the method used to create the memorized transactions in our case, but the info provided is very helpful for communicating internally. Thanks to everyone for the insight.

So, I have been told that the templates below were not knowingly created by any user. The second screenshot is a check that is listed in the transaction tab of one of the templates.
